Sign up for Crunch - Outdoor 2012 - deadline 12 February 2012!
Here you can sign up to play/train with Crunch during the Outdoor season 2012 which starts 5 March 2012. Below you'll find a description of each team. Please check out the membership fees. Take note, signing up means you are obliged to pay the NFB and Crunch membership fee; it makes you a member till 1 March 2013! If you do not sign up your Crunch membership will automatically end 1 March.
You can either sign up for an existing team or choose the Don't know option and you will be assigned to a team. All competition teams train on Thursdays. You have to sign up for a competition team to be able to practice on Thursdays (you can also sign up as Practice Only). The competition teams will all participate in the open competition and probably also in the mixed competition which takes place after summer. The competition days of the open competition are always on Sunday and held across the Netherlands:
Competition dates for outdoor 2012: 1 April, 22 April, 6 May, 10 June 2012 (CHANGED, was originally June 3)
There are also two tournament teams who train regularly: CamboCakes and Rusty Bikes. It is possible to both join a tournament team and a team that plays competition. The tournaments teams decide themselves who gets to train/play with them, through this form you can show your interest.
Be aware, to train with Crunch you have to be a member of Crunch or NUTS (student Ultimate).
All applications will be collected in February and the board will meet with the core group representatives to assign every applicant to a team.

Besides Ultimate, teamdevelopment elements will be part of each
practice, dealing with concepts such as trust, communication, values
and leadership. At the beginning of the season, the team establishes a
teamgoal which they want to achieve by the end of the season. The
training will be designed to help each individual and the team as a
whole to reach their goals.
Players of all levels are welcome. The most important reason for
signing up for this team is wanting to go for it 100%. Think about it:
do you really want to commit?
We are fun and social, but we are also keen on improving ourselves. We appreciate team members making the effort of taking part in team trainings. Sometimes we come together to play in the park on weekends. As always we play in our distinctive orange tiger shirts.

Our tournament teams:
For those of you who want to become a high-level player fast and are happy to train hard to get there, the CamboCake trainings are for you. The CamboCakes is a Crunch team that focuses on high-level tournaments. Our winter/pre-spring training is outdoors on Wednesday nights and Sunday afternoons. Our focus is on developing players' skills, tactics and physical condition within a fun and spirited team. Then we take that team to some competitive tournaments to further develop and hopefully reach our potential against some of Europe's best teams. Our tournament schedule kicks off in late April, then we average about one tournament per month. We don't care what your current frisbee experience or level - if you have the desire to play at the highest level in the Netherlands, then you are very welcome. You will receive expert coaching in a fun team atmosphere. We ask that you:
1: Commit to practices - we practice no matter the weather.
2: Commit to increasing your fitness - our practices are physically demanding, and we expect everyone to put 100% in from start to finish.
The Cakes ask 4 hours per week from our players, which includes trainings during winter, and making sure you get fit. Gym, track sessions, whatever you as an individual need to be in good shape.
We train hard, play hard and then finish with a pizza and a beer after practice.
