7th edition of Discmas

The 7th edition of Discmas was incroyable! Not only because of the weather (rain most of the time) or the snow (almost everywhere), but because of the amount of participants: 11! Whoehoe! Reggi, Hylke, Sjoerd, Iris, Jesse, Suzanne, Chris, Tjeerd, Thomas, Michiel and Raymond played 9 holes of the famous Vondelpark course. In between we had oliebollen and hot chocolate with baileys. After the 9 holes, we decided that the rain had won....

A drink afterwards in Vertigo was necessary to count the scores and decide who won the Discmas competition. Was it Jesse? Was it Sjoerd 'voetfout' Druiven? Was it Raymond 'i bring colored discs' Van Dijk? No! It was good old Reggi 'broke a disc on the first hole' Hensen who beat Michiel on the last hole. Congrats! In the ladies division Iris was the winner, with Suzanne taking the silver medal back home. Tjeerd was so happy with his victory in the mixed division - he ate pepernoten with mosterd to celebrate it.

Kudos to Michiel's hole-in-one and to Sjoerd, who walked on the ice to save several discs. Special kudos to Koen, who called all the way from Down Under to tell us he was a little late ;)
